Navigating Arousal
As a professional massage therapist, if you have not yet encountered a client becoming visibly aroused, you will. The physiology of sexual arousal is a complex topic but how it is most relevant to us is that relaxation, for many people, can automatically elicit a client’s sexual arousal at no fault of their own – or yours. It happens.
How we respond to any arousal-based situation has everything to do with our relationship to sexuality and communication.
